Welcome to Calm & Clarity (the “Service”), operated by A Caregiver's Corner (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who you are contracting with

You are contracting with A Caregiver's Corner. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization. If you are using it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

2. The Service

Calm & Clarity provides daily check-ins, prayers, affirmations, journaling prompts, a hydration tracker, optional nutrition logging, a reflection companion, and an opt-in community space for women caregivers. The Service is offered as a free tier and a paid Premium subscription.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account. Please provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, defame, or harm others.
  • Post spam, fraudulent content, or content that infringes anyone's rights.
  • Attempt to disrupt or compromise the Service, probe it for vulnerabilities, scrape it, or upload malware.
  • Reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute any part of the Service.

5. User content & community

You retain ownership of the content you submit (check-ins, journal entries, community posts, replies). You grant us a limited license to host and process that content solely so we can provide the Service to you. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, written content, brand, and curated prayers and affirmations, is owned by A Caregiver's Corner and is protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within the plan you have selected.

7. Payments, billing & subscriptions

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. By purchasing a subscription, you also agree to Paddle's Buyer Terms, which govern payment, billing frequency, taxes, cancellation, and refund mechanics.

Premium subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You may cancel at any time from your profile or via Paddle's customer portal.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may close your account at any time.

10. No medical, mental-health, or professional advice

Calm & Clarity offers spiritual encouragement and wellness reflections. It is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, legal, or financial advice and is not a substitute for professional care. If you are in crisis, please contact a qualified professional or emergency services.

11. Service availability & warranties

The Service is provided “as is.” We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Paddle for the Service in the 6 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or loss of goodwill. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
